It’s not always so easy
Other choices may have more severe consequences. Quitting a job, leaving a relationship, continuing to participate in potentially dangerous behaviors. These types of choices can have devastating effects on our lives and the people around us and should be thought out carefully before committing to them.
It has been said that hindsight is 20/20. How many times have you looked back at an event where you thought you had made what you thought was a bad decision, only to realize that it was the best thing you could have ever done for yourself?
Some choices are made for us
Sometimes other people’s choices can affect us directly, even though we had nothing to do with them.
Imagine that you get fired from your job, or you find out that your partner has been unfaithful to you.
At first this may seem devastating. You might be overcome with the fear that uncertainty bring and feel that you have lost everything.
Keep the faith
But guess what…In time, you will land another job. You will find someone who loves and respects you for who you are, and you will realize that were it not for the choices made in the past, you wouldn’t be where you are in the present.
The next time that important choices are made by either you, or someone else, remember that they will bring you to exactly where you need to be.
Will you choose to believe that everything has a reason for happening?
